After a long conversation with Victor on the phone, I hung up the call with a few romantic words that came out of my mouth to Victor with my phone placed on my chest and I chuckled when I heard a soft and romantic hand on my shoulder assuming it was Victor who was touching me.

‘Victor, I wanna kiss you I wanna feel the warmth of your embrace, I want to be held in your arms tightly’.These were the words that were coming out of Gabby's mouth still in her imagination until she heard a loud voice shouting her name.

Gabby! Gabby!! Gabby!!!

‘y….es….gabby stammers’

Who is he? Happiness asked

There was a look of ecstasy on her face while trying to explain who Victor was, to her cousin. But it seems happiness was livid that she had to keep her waiting for over thirty minutes all in the name of a guy.

Gabby clenched and unclenched, looking for the right explanation to tell her cousin who Victor was to her, after concluding within her she whispered

he’s my boyfriend, Gabby managed to voice out after noticing the look on her cousin’s face. She was wondering what kind of human being was her cousin because she does things differently from the way normal human beings do.

Anyway, I don’t care mom sent for you that’s why I'm here

‘Oh….ok’ I’ll join you soon. Gabby answered.

Gabby had to leave to go and attend to her aunt, who had been sitting, waiting for her for over thirty minutes.

Aunty, gabby said you sent for me

‘Yes my dear’ she answered groggily

Just enter your room and pack your things so we can leave for Mrs Chinenye's house tomorrow

Ok ma, gabby nodded

Gabby had packed her bags and was looking at the time now and then wishing it was dawn already, she was so curious and eager to work and stay with Mrs. Chinenye not only staying there but working in her company as a secretary was what made her so desperate and would do anything to make sure that she does not miss the opportunity.

It was 5:30 am when Gabby's alarm rang and she jumped out of bed. She rushed into the bathroom singing ‘Like You’ by Tatiana Manois.

Tatiana is an artist she loves so much and she could do anything to make sure that she doesn't miss out on any of her songs.

Gabby had finished dressing by 6:50 am waiting for her aunty to get dressed while waiting for her aunty she was already on her phone browsing the job of a secretary and jotting them down, when she heard a call from her aunt

Gabby! She hollered

Yes aunty, gabby answered

Pack your bags and go outside you will see a cab waiting outside. Mrs Patience had already booked a ride that would convey them to their destination.

Mrs.Patience had taken her handbag, a gold wristwatch, and light makeup on her face.

Gabby hurry, let's go!

Good morning Ma, Gabby greeted Mrs.Chinenye

How are you doing darling? she asked

Am fine Ma, Gabby replied her

So, I called your aunty to ask her if you could take up the position as a secretary in my corporation.

‘Yes ma’ Gabby replied with so much confidence

OK, that’s nice, do you have your CV with you?

‘Yes ma’ Gabby answered

Mrs.Chinenye has collected Gabriella’s CV to go through them, while going through her CV she noticed that Gabriella doesn't have any work experience but she didn’t mind if she had any work experience or not.

Mrs.Chinenye was ready to put her through because she loved her boldness, courage, and potential in Gabriella.

On the other hand, Gabriella was praying within her that she would give her the job. While she was still standing looking at Mrs.Chinenye going through her CV, a tall muscular posture, full black hair with waves walked in with a blue fitted suit and a black shade which caught the attention of Gabby.

Gabriella’s eyes were on this young guy for over twenty minutes when she heard the voice of Mrs.Chinenye.

Gabriella! Gabriella!! Gabriella!!!

Y…es…ma,Gabby stammers

Are you okay? Mrs.Chinenye asks with so much fear

Sure am good ma, Gabby replied

I’ve concluded that you will be working as my secretary.

‘Wow’ thank you so much, may God bless you.

Gabriella was extremely happy that she had finally gotten the job. After some time, Mrs Chinenye asked one of the staff to show Gabriella her office which was directly opposite Mrs.Chinenye’s office, and gave her some files to go through and told her to check her calendar when she had an appointment.

Gabriella walked into it with her mouth wide open, the artwork on the wall, and the paintings that made her so happy. Everything about the office was ‘wow’ and there was also a separate shower room with a walk-in tiled cubicle.

Gabriella was still in shock when she noticed the office swivel chairs(computer chairs) usually incorporate a gas lift to adjust the height of the seat she sat on it like a boss and checked Mrs.Chinenye’s calendar to know when she had an appointment, after checking it, she noticed that Mrs.Chinenye has an appointment with the Kevin Chase plastics services, Inc.

Gabriella walked into Mrs.Chinenye’s office to let her know her appointments.

Good day ma, Gabby greeted

How’s work going?Mrs.Chinenye’s asked

It’s going well ma, You have a meeting with Kevin Chase Plastics Services, Inc. on the 25th of November by 8:00 am.

Ok, that’s good, she answered.

Gabriella had rounded up with everything she was asked to do and she was heading to Mrs.Chinenye’s office.

‘Good evening ma’ Gabby greeted

How are you darling?Mrs.Chinenye asked

Am doing good ma, she replied

Ok, that’s good, just pack all the files and make sure everything is in place. Mrs. Chinenye instructed Gabriella

Sure ma, I’ve packed all the files

Gabby headed to her car after packing everything, while she was driving Mrs.Chinenye complained about her driving, and that she needed a driver, Gabby suggested she call the agency.
