Chapter 15 Earl The morning light bled softly through the half-open blinds, striping the dark wood floor with gold. My eyes cracked open slowly, reluctantly and lazy. My mouth tasted like ash. My head throbbed with a dull headache as if it was reminding me of last night. "I've got to remember to stop drinking that much." I sat up, the blanket falling from my chest.
