Dinner at Stephen’s was a trip and a half. When we walked in, both Ryan and Wilson stood and held our chairs for us. I was sitting near Wilson, Car near Ryan. Yes, it did look like a double date. “Oh, I’ve already ordered for us, so it would be ready,” Ryan announced. “I hope you like Beef Wellington. It’s Wilson’s favorite. I try to get it for our first dinner here. This place does it superbly.” “Yes,” Wilson added. “There are very few places that make it well.” “I’ve never had it,” I admitted. “You’ll love it!” Wilson put his hand on mine and gave it a squeeze. “They use pâté foie gras here. Some places use any pâté they can find or just processed mushroom spread. They do it the right way here and the crust is never soggy.” I just smiled at him. “You look lovely tonight,” Ryan said
