Chapter 8Bruce Wilson grabbed his lightweight gray jacket and put it on as he walked. He headed down the back stairs of the Institute toward the walking trails. He liked to walk these paths at lunch when the weather was pleasant. Today the sun was trying to push through the thick clouds. It was supposed to rain, but Bruce hoped it would hold off until after dinner. He had two large racks of ribs that he was planning to grill when he got home. Bruce was concerned that he might not have this chance today because of all the excitement surrounding the upcoming experiment. He knew that he should have passed on his walk and worked through lunch, but this always cleared his mind.
