Chapter 15The next afternoon Tom knocked on Paul's office door and then stepped in and took a seat.
“Sorry, I didn't get in to discuss last night with you earlier. Steph got her braces today, and I took the morning to be with her at the orthodontist's office,” Tom explained.
“I remember you mentioning it. How did it go?”
“She was nervous but didn't complain. I think she will be a little sore, but will quickly adjust.”
“Good. I'm glad you went. That is where you needed it be,” Paul stated.
“Are you guys still coming to dinner tonight?” Tom inquired.
“Absolutely. When I get done here, I'm going home to get Michelle, and we will be there by six.”
“Good. Linda and the kids are looking forward to seeing you guys.”
