– 9 – Cory tried to put Ashley’s challenging situation to rest. Without the young woman’s presence, there was nothing she could do on her behalf. Perhaps Ashley had already recovered her memory and no longer needed help. It would be thoughtful if she notified Cory, but closure for Cory was her issue, not the patient’s.
