Chapter 15 – Night Time Visits

1208 Words
Turning to face the door, I knew it was silly, but a streak of fear ran through me. It was late, who would come to my house so late at night. If it were mum or Heath surely they would just let themselves in. Though what if they forgot their keys. Another rushed knock at the door, I slowly walked down the corridor reaching my arm up to the door. Taking in a sharp breath I turned the lock, the prospect of Heath being on the side sending my heart pumping hard. Opening the door just a crack, I looked out to the porch ready the close the door in an instant if I needed. My eyes latching on the figure, I released my breath as I felt my shoulders fall in disappointment. I had really wanted it to be Heath and mum, but no. In my doorway now stumbling forward was Eric. He was annoying and unwanted, but quite harmless. Moving to close the door on him, Eric jutted out his hand, pushing the door open. Waltzing inside, he appeared to be looking around, almost like he was searching for something. Apparently not finding what he was searching for his eyes trailed back, looking me up and down. “Eric what are you doing here?” Suddenly feeling a sense of exhaustion wash through me, he had not even spoken yet and he drained what energy I had left. “I needed to see you.” His voice was almost desperate as he turned back toward the door pushing it closed above my head before backing me into the door. Frozen in place, I shrunk into the door as I felt my eyes widen. “I’m sorry Alice, I heard that man was your stepdad. I jumped to conclusions, I should not have said what I said… I was jealous.” His face growing closer and closer to my own, “you make me crazy.” His head suddenly dropping to connect our lips, I ducked to avoid his mouth going under his arm and out of his reach. “Apology or not, we are still done. I need you to leave.” Keeping my tone level as possible, I crossed my arms over my chest taking another step back away from him. His body slumping, a small smile pulled at his lips as he took a step closer. “Alice your mother called me, she told me that you had already forgiven me. That this was all a misunderstanding, she asked me to come.” His head slightly shaking, “and it is okay, everybody has forgotten what happened with Gia. They all know it was her fault anyway, it is okay.” Raising my eyebrows, I almost could not believe what he was saying. He thought I cared what his friends thought? “Come here.” His gentle voice sounding he opened his arms, it was like he expected me to run to him. That was never going to happen, never again. We were done and I meant it. How dare my mother call him, though to be honest I was not really surprised she got involved. “I do not know what my mother told you, but I am completely serious Eric. We will never get back together, I can’t trust you. And I certainly don’t love you.” His Jaw clicking, he reached out swiftly gripping my wrist before yanking me toward him. His breath filled with the scent of alcohol fanning my face, I almost gaged pulling away. Wincing as his grip strengthened, I whined out involuntarily. Fight or flight mode kicking in, I could not get away. So before I even thought about my actions I raised my knee and then threw my fist at his face hearing a sickening crack. His yell roaring through the house, I stepped further back holding my throbbing knuckles in my now free hand. They hurt like hell as I squeezed then tightly trying to manage the pain. Raising my gaze, I saw Eric on his knees appearing unsure whether to hold his genitals or his face. The front door thrown open in an instant, Heath rushed in with mother gripping his arm tightly behind him seemingly trying to hold him back. Her voice sounding loudly, “wait, give them time to work things out.” Her words abruptly stopping she no doubt was taking in the sight in front of her. “Alice!” Heath rushing forward, he checked me over like he was looking for injuries before he took my hand in his own to have a good look. His voice slightly panicked and haggard. It felt nice to be worried about, “are you okay Ali..ce?” His words faltering on my name, he turned to look at Eric before stomping toward him with purpose clear in his intent. Gripping him by the back of the shirt, I could hear my mother screaming at Heath as she attempted to stop him, grabbing his arm once more. Holding the back of Eric’s shirt, Heath lifted him off the floor before walking him to the door casting him out of the threshold with force. “Heath calm down! The poor boy was hurt!” My mother poisonous glare swivelling to meet my own, she turned on me. “What did you do? I had fixed everything!” Heath walking between us he turned on mother. “Are you f*****g serious Maria! How could you invite him here, especially when we were not even here in the middle of the f*****g night!” Flinching at the threating tone, I watched my mother struggle for words as she sucked her cheeks in irritation hollowing her face. Changing her facial expression in seconds, her eyes softened latching onto Heath as she closed the distance between them. Her voice turning into a whine. “I only wanted to help my daughter Heath. You don’t talk boys with her, I know what she wants, she is just a bit shy. Eric was just a little drunk, I am sure this is all just a little misunderstanding, we will all laugh about together later.” Her hand stroking up and down his bicep, Heath appeared to loosen his stance under her touch before running his hands though his hair. Releasing a breath while speaking Heath sounded utterly exhausted. “Let’s all just go to bed, you go ahead Maria. I’ll help Alice with her hand and meet you there.” A smile pulling at her lips, I could see the victory clear in her eyes. Turning, she strutted down the corridor swaying her hips back and forth slightly turning her head to glimpse at Heath no doubt to see if he was watching after her.   Read ahead on my p*****n https://www.patreon.com/tigerlillie60 Also gain access to early chapters of this book and my other each week as well as weekly erotic one shots.
