Nikolai had just started to doze off on me again when the car came to a stop in front of the resort. It was a beautiful ancestral looking place, and I hopped out of the car, my eyes taking everything in. A service boy came to take our luggage, and Nikolai let his hand rest on my waist as we went u to the resort. It wasn't a holiday time, so it wasn't crowded. Nikolai finished the processes at the front desk, and the service boy followed us upstairs to drop our bags. "I was sure you would appreciate a room with a view," Nikolai said, just as he opened up the room. My eyes widened, and I stayed, transfixed in my spot, my heart threatening to rip out of my chest. Half of the room was cast in glass, and this time, it was wide open, ushering in a flood of beautiful light and vibrant colour
