I woke up in the wee hours of the morning, my body still tingling from the toe curling encounter of last night. I gave a small smile as I turned to Nikolai. He was still peacefully asleep, his hands wrapped around me, his body warm. I stayed there just enjoying his warmth for the most part before I slowly moved out of his embrace. He stirred, but I leaned closer, gently kissing his face and neck, till he settled back into sleep, a ghost of a smile resting on his lips. I moved away from the bed and walked to the bath. It was still half filled, reminiscent of last night, our scents mixing together in those waters. I smiled to myself and got into the shower.
