CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE For several days, Hilary, Trelio and Kalos waited for her contact in the royal household to provide them with the parrot. It seemed that for the King, Stanley kept his attention longer than most things. However eventually the King did grow tired and asked for Stanley to be taken away. The lady-in-waiting swapped Stanley with a dead parrot and smuggled herself and Stanley in a cage out to a local tavern where Kalos was waiting.
