CHAPTER THIRTY-THREE King Frederick met up again with his men who had been spying on the Prince of Abula’s Palace. While guarded, there were only a few sentries ever on duty. The complacency of the Prince would be his downfall, thought King Frederick. Leaving the city, again unchallenged, King Frederick joined up with Lorimor and Roubar and told them of his plan to attack at night, after his forces had set fire to all the towers on the sea wall, hopefully disabling any defensive force. Roubar was reluctant until he heard that the towers were full of mercenaries. Both he and Lorimor hated mercenaries and the decision was made to attack that night.
