Waking up, Trelio got everyone ready to rush to the portal when it appeared. He knew that he had to warn Malcolm almost immediately that the Diamond of Destiny would not help him destroy Diablo. He didn’t want Malcolm and Casper to sacrifice themselves only to make Diablo stronger.
As the sun came up over the bridge, Kolan and Madeleine were admiring the view of the light on the river. The Giants’ world, while frightening, was also fascinating. At least they had stopped Talomere’s efforts to take over this world, even if their own world was in uproar.
