Roubar started to hear more and more stories of Dark Elves surrendering in the areas around the Badlands. Even the normally iron discipline of the Dark Elves failed when they were ordered to send wave after wave of forces against Dragon caves, for a purpose that made no sense to them.
King Frederick and Lorimor, now confident in their conquest of the rest of the continent, decided that it was time to retake the Badlands, as much as the Badlands had ever really been conquered.
