CHAPTER SIXTY-TWO
This time it didn’t seem as hard or as far to reach the Land of the Penguins. Helping a still recovering Queen Agatha back to health was the largest burden and even that wasn’t much trouble.
What did cause the journey not to be pleasant though was Queen Agatha’s stout refusal to accept Jonas’ view that the Diamond of Destiny had not hurt Diablo.
“I saw with my own eyes that he was weakened by the Diamond’s magic,” said Queen Agatha.
“That’s not what Jonas said,” said Madeleine.
“He’s just trying to cover up the fact they didn’t want to sacrifice their lives,” said Queen Agatha.
“I can only tell you what he said,” said Madeleine.
“But you told Malcolm and Casper to give up on it. If Diablo is freed then that is their best hope of destroying him!” said Queen Agatha
