CHAPTER NINETEEN
As they waited for Kalos and Trelio to return, Kolan saw Hilary rushing towards them.
“Did Trelio tell you what happened?” gasped Hilary.
“Yes, you were held hostage,” said Kolan.
“I was released to tell Malcolm something. Though he won’t like it,” said Hilary.
“Malcolm!” cried Kolan over to Malcolm.
Malcolm flew over.
“Hilary has a message for you,” said Kolan.
Hilary was blushing. She had hoped to break the news to Malcolm in a more subtle way.
“Talomere says he will kill Princess Candera and Madeleine unless you sacrifice yourself when the time comes to kill Diablo,” said Hilary.
“What? Sacrifice myself, why?” said Malcolm.
“Apparently the only way to kill him for good is for you to sacrifice yourself,” said Hilary.
