CHAPTER SIXTY-EIGHT
Hilary liked being back in Asperios. Everything was much the same as it used to be before all this awful adventure business. She could fuss about Princess Candera and generally feel important in the court. King Frederick was usually out so there was no court as such, but on the few times he was in the Palace he was always courteous to Hilary, in the same way as King Alex had been.
But her world was suddenly thrown into turmoil. She saw King Frederick coming into the castle with two men. One she recognised as Lorimor and the other looked very familiar. It couldn’t be, could it? Not her old lover Hector?
