CHAPTER SEVENTY-FIVE
Kolan liked the familiarity of riding out with a large party of heroes to the Badlands. It was essentially the party he started with: Krolith, Princess Candera, Madeleine, Hilary, Malcolm and Roubar. Casper also came along as well. Kalos, Albalos and Stephanie had stayed behind in Asperios. She had been given a specially made black and white woollen jacket by Roubar, which she hated having to wear, to cover up her featherless body.
Malcolm only had a vague idea where the original cave was, but it was something that Kolan remembered very well. It had transformed Kolan from a failed journeyman, to a fully-fledged heroic figure. He knew that at the time he was a fraud, but he felt he had since grown into a hero.
