Chapter 2
Pausing to look out the window of the trailer, Barbara could see the untouched sweep of the beautiful high mountain meadow, the meadow ended abruptly at the face of the sheer granite mountain to the north. From reading the script the young girl knew that that mountain cliff would be the major location site of the film.
Under any other circumstances the sight of the beautiful scenery would have pleased her, at any other time the knowledge that she was here to help make a movie would have thrilled her, but the memory of what she'd seen and done the night before cast a dark cloud of nervous shame over Barbara's enjoyment of the moment.
