It's already 9:30 AM and it's now our recess, the favorite subject of kids this age after lunch and dismissal. We were taught Science then Math with 45 minutes each and they immediately gave us assignments

After all, the grade school student council had a program where they put a policy of "No Assignments Friday and No Quizzes Monday" so that students would enjoy the weekends more and they won't be slapped with quizzes the moment they come back to school

That student council party won, out of the three parties, because of this program alone, along with "Washing Friday" where students can wear civilian formal clothing every first Friday once a month, obviously there's a theme that the student council will provide

The principal and the faculty had no choice to implement this policy for the rest of the year and if the next student council would inherit the same policy and program

Since that policy was implemented, teachers would do the opposite and give tons of assignments on Monday and major quizzes of Friday

'I mean, that makes sense...'

Now that it's recess, we have 20 minutes to eat. Some of my classmates went out to buy food at the canteen, some brought their own food

Meanwhile, I had a sandwich that my mother prepared

I didn't have the appetite to eat, but I have to force myself to provide nutrients for this body at such a young age. I also have a functioning heart after all

As I was eating my sandwich with an egg mayo spread, cheese, and lettuce, I heard and saw in my peripheral that I'm being approached by my classmates

Now, I remember who this is. His name is Patrick, my friend and my school bus mate. His fairly fat and he has a bowl cut hairstyle

He was accompanied by two more kids. One have the name of Nikolai, the class bully, and the other is Miguel, the errand boy

I looked at them and they are that one group in class that bullies the main character. Well, I'm not saying I'm the main character

I wish I could be a main character, but considering my regression and system, I could already be one

I also can't believe that I'm friends with these guys

'Am I really friends with them?'

"What happened to you man? Your muscles are so hard"

They wrapped their arms around my neck and touched my arm muscles

"Can I take a bit of your sandwich?"

I replied nonchalantly to avoid too much attention. These kids only have 1 stat value across their stats anywyas. They won't be able to do anything to me

Nikolai mentioned as he put the plastic wrapper on my table. He has a crooked nose and a ruffled haircut

Kids of my age would probably be angry with this action, but I'm already an adult. These are just the whims of a kid since they are bored and they have nothing better to do

They'll eventually learn since I know Nikolai would mature at 4th or 5th grade. Although, unfortunately, he died before college from an accident

I don't know how I could remember that information vividly

I also remember that Patrick and I will engage in a fist fight at the enclosed playground. I can't remember what the cause of the fight was though. Maybe because we argued over the use of the swings

Good thing no one snitched to the teachers and we didn't get disciplinary actions. I can't remember what happened to us after that though

Meanwhile, Miguel is a pushover since he's smaller compared to the rest of us. He looked like he could be suffering from Dwarfism, but that isn't the case at all. It's just all genes

Though, that caused for him to get bullied though

'Haaah... This era of discrimination...'

They kept pestering me most of recess, but I ignored them. Although, the more I ignore them, the more they keep pestering me

Fortunately, one classmate of mine, and I definitely remember this son of a gun, went to us and basically told these three to leave

Considering the status of this guy, the three had no choice but to leave. He then also took the plastic wrapper on my table and threw it away on the trash can at the back corner of the room

"What's up, Philip?"

I smirked

"I feel okay, Eliseo"

This guy's name is Eliseo, the smartest person in the class, or this entire grade school, and my "mostest bestest friend" as we called it

He has well maintained hair and small eyes. He has round glasses and his physique is fit and thin

We were friends for over seven years and we were inseparable. Unfortunately, at late high school years, we eventually grew apart and went our different paths. We lost communications and never got in contact ever again

Even during my adventures after the transition to the Mystical Age, I never heard of him ever again

Now that I just saw him, this would be one of many that I would change after regressing. I would've liked to keep our friendship longer than before

Not only that, he already has two traits and five aptitudes. Although, I don't know how many is too much if someone has aptitudes and I can't estimate their power levels with aptitudes

Like, if someone has more than four or five traits, their souls are more pure or corrupted, depending on their alignment

A being with more than two powers are beings that are most commended by anyone and beings with more than two high ranked talents has the potential to reach the realms of the gods

After all, I never saw any aptitudes in my previous life and I wasn't able to estimate my enemies' capabilities

Now that I can see aptitudes, I'll have the advantage to see who's more capable out of everyone and take advantage of them and get the upper hand

Furthermore, Eliseo already had two traits this young. His future is looking bright

I already know his future looked good before we separated, but he literally went missing. It's as if he's that one case of mysterious disappearance

The fact that he already has a blessing and a curse at this time is already mind-blowing, especially the contents of the blessing and curse itself

In every blessing and every curse, there are hidden meaning and literal translation. I learn this from my friend, who is the Goddess of Curses

She is the only being in the universe that can apply natural curses in every being, based on her [Cursed Scale] to identify if that being is deserves a curse. Of course there are conditions if someone should have a curse, she's just following her rule

She then decides what kind of curse to apply based on the source and origin of that being

On the other hand, she doesn't have the rule over artificial curses such as man-made curses

However, the Goddess of Curses also explained that curses are not always a bad thing, like curses can be blessing, the same can be said to blessings as a blessing could be a curse

On Eliseo's case, his curse is definitely not a blessing. It is a very bad curse

According to what I understand from learning about the God of Curses' teachings, the [Curse of Millenium Seal] means that he's forcefully and powerfully sealed

This could possibly the most powerful seal I've seen since my previous life

I don't know what's sealed about him, but I think the [Blessing of Resplendent Light] has to do something about it

I never got to interact with the Goddess of Blessing in my previous life, but I understand curses enough to understand this blessing

The Resplendent Light is a devastating but magnificent power that's slumbering inside Eliseo

The Resplendent Light then have a connection to the Mark of Hall of Heroes

Eliseo is supposed to become a Hero, probably a Hero of Heroes, and his power is the Resplendent Light, just like how heroes in kid's stories and cartoons have the power of light to vanquish darkness

The [Curse of Millenium Seal] was placed on him to lock away his potential. The term "Millenium" is already powerful enough to seal both the [Mark of the Hall of Heroes] and the [Blessing of Resplendent Light]

I know this because of the Four Absolute Rules of the Rooms

First rule is the Theory of Literality that means that all concepts and aspects is literal and it's immovable

Second rule is the Rule of Conception that means that nothing has no concept and everything is a concept. There is no unknown and the only unknown is itself

Third rule is the Law of Definition that means that everything and anything has meaning and definiton. Everything has a function and anything has a purpose

And fourth rule is the Principle of Naming that means that every concepts and existences should have a name and that name follows the other Absolute Rules

All of this means that someone is playing around with Eliseo's fate and destiny since he was born

I stood up and went closer to Eliseo. I gave him a friend hug and patted his back

"Philip? What's up with you?"

"It's nothing, I'm just happy to be your friend"

"Huh? Haha! Where did that come from? Of course I'm also happy!"

The school bell rang and everyone scattered back to their seats

Our Music teacher, our last subject for Monday, dismissed us. Everyone was excited to go home and most of them literally ran outside and across the hallway

The teacher from the other room saw them and shouted at them. But they ignored him since they're too excited to go home

Today's school was decent. Although we were taught by our teachers and encouraged us to answer in recitation, I held myself back from raising my hand to answer the teachers' question

After all, all my classmates are competitive as they eagerly raised their hands just to be called by teachers

I kinda miss this life. Competition, learning, and friendship. Unfortunately, I can't learn anything anymore since I've learned everything there is

Also, out of eight subjects we had today, every one of them gave us assignments or homework. Good thing it's due until the end of the week

"Hey Philip! Wanna go to canteen and buy corn?"

Eliseo called out to me and invited me to the canteen, along with our other female friends

"Ehh, I'm not hungry. I want to save money"

Whenever I go to school, even though my mother prepared snacks and lunch for me, she still gives me allowance for school. This money is mostly for food after school though

She gave me ₱50 and that's enough for one and a half meals

I've decided to save as much as possible since in this day and age, money is everything

"That's okay, come with us anyways!"

"Alright"

I can't say no to them and followed to the canteen

We looked at the selections and there are plenty to choose from

Other than the freezer full of ice cream, icicle pops, and candy pop, a rack full of candies, biscuits, and nutritious junk foods, and fridges with various drinks, there are special menu that's only available in dismissal at this hour

A grilled corn cob costs ₱20, a pack of french fries is ₱10, a grilled hotdog on a bread costs ₱25, and siomai costs ₱6 each

Eliseo bought a corn cob and the rest of the girls bought fries and siomai

Eventually, we separated ways since my school bus is waiting for us

I voiced out in mind as I waved goodbye to Eliseo and the rest. I can't do anything about his situation at my current state

I went to the school bus and I was the last one to arrive

The seating position is first come first serve where the first to arrive could sit next to the door and the last ones are supposed to sit at the back, behind the driver and passenger

However, Mr. Ramon has already set a system where whoever is the first to get off will be sitting close to the door. Therefore, the last ones to get off are conditioned to sit at the back

Meanwhile, since the school bus is packed to the brim with bulking bags and roller bags filling the space in the middle, I had to sit in the middle

I remember that this was my condition when going home

Though, I didn't have to sit on the floor, I have my jug to act as a stool

It works well and I sat to face backwards. This is fine so that my school bus mates won't be able to see my face since my back is facing almost all of them

Mr. Ramon's wife is supporting me with one hand in case Mr. Ramon suddenly brakes and the inertia flings us forwards, in my case, backwards

Almost 30 minutes have past, I finally arrived at home. I inserted the key and opened the door

I should be alone in the house for a few hours since my mother would still be in her school, teaching college students

I quickly changed and threw my clothes at the laundry basket like a basketball

'I can't believe that this action has been ingrained in me, even when I haven't done it for so long in my previous life'

As soon as I changed clothes, I didn't turn on the TV to watch cartoons nor I went to bed and take a nap nor I went outside to play nor I went to my study table and do my assignments like any other normal kid would do

I instead immediately did my exercise routine; 25 push ups, 25 situps, and 50 jumping jacks

Unlike two days ago, where I collapsed in bed after doing the same routine, I can still go for longer

I did russian twists, a few pull ups on the frame of the door of my room, ab crunches and curls, and a few minutes of planking

Unfortunately, there is no makeshift barbell somewhere in the house. My neighbor has one, but I can't just borrow it directly
