“Are… are you alright?” I asked, my voice hesitant as I watched the young woman. She turned to me, her face glowing with a creepy happiness. Her earlier grief seemed to have vanished, replaced by an unsettling calm. She looked different from when she first came in, more happy, at peace for someone who just lost her twin. Then again, what was that…song. “I’m more than alright,” she said, her tone bright and airy. “I feel… free.
