We entered his place and I called Riley and she didn’t answer but shortly after sent a text. I know I haven’t heard from my dad in a while but he did send me a text while I was in Australia telling me he loves me. “I’m going to go find out what going on,” he said. “I want to go.”
“No, I need you to be safe.” He leaned down and claimed my lips. “Please..” He pressed our foreheads together, lightly kissing my the tip of my nose. “Okay, I’ll stay.” Whatever has happened, he wanted to make sure I was safe. After he left out of the door, I called my dad to let him I was back, but only his voicemail came on.
