Since Frank had left on Saturday morning, Nero had been waiting for the opportunity to hack into Rhodes’ computer network to access any files relating to his organisation.
Now, at last, the chance had come. Rhodes had gone on one of his frequent hikes, along with the García brothers. The old man liked to stretch his legs regularly, and Nero had accompanied him once or twice at his invitation.
Nero let himself into the computer ops room with the key he’d seen Rhodes hide inside a book in the kitchen and softly closed the door. He was hoping to find more names of people involved, other locations the group occupied and, specifically, who funded them. That was a secret that had remained behind closed doors for some time.
