Chapter 37 Later in the afternoon on Saturday, Nero had driven towards Medellín, a few kilometres, stopping to make a phone call on the way . He then pulled into a supply store to pick up everything he needed. He pushed a trolley around the supermarket-sized store and threw in a spanner kit, pliers and a tubing cutter, then waited in his car. After an hour of waiting, growing bored, Nero closely watched a Mazda pull up alongside and park. A man with a dark complexion, bearded with cropped hair, wound down his passenger window. “You got a light, buddy?” he asked. Nero nodded and got out of his driver seat, slipping into the passenger seat of the Mazda, handing over a lighter. “Thanks.
