Seraphina's POV
I look away from him, taking a deep breath as my fingers clench around the sheets.
‘What is it?’ Celine asks him, standing and walking towards him.
‘It says, “You don't deserve to live”,’ Alistair reads the note I found yesterday aloud so Celine could hear, ‘The hell does that mean? You didn’t even bother to tell us about this?’
He scolds me, anger written all over his face.
‘Let me see that!’ Celine snatches the note from his grasp and reads through it. Her face of amusement falls to a confused one.
‘Are you being threatened? Bullied in the hospital? Whoever is playing these pranks is definitely taking this way too far!’ She hisses in anger, crumpling the paper and trashing it in the bin.
