Chapter 7Mfon got to Saint’s house by 8.30am the following day and met him still lying on the bed. She was all dressed up and ready to go to school from there.
“What are you still doing on the bed by this time of the day?” she asked as she gently walked into the room.
Saint looked up at her and sat up; he had not expected her this morning. She probably would have tried his number but couldn’t reach him. There had been power outage throughout the night up till the morning, so there was no way he could charge his mobile phone. The power outage had been one of the reasons he was still sleeping.
