Chapter 13Back at the monastery, the chief monk woke up and walked outside into the field in the center of the monastery buildings. He got to the centre and stopped, and then he looked up into the sky.
The other monks watched him with curiosity. He stood there for almost an hour and this got the monks wondering if the sun was not hurting his eyes.
About four of the elders decided to walk up to him and find out what was really making him act strangely. They stopped and waited for him when they got to him. They didn’t want to disrupt his meditation but hoped that he would come out of it if he should notice their presence.
