“Yes, life is cruel, but we can put a smile on someone’s face.” Sandra said after he concluded. “You risked your life for Angela and that, to me, shows that you are far more capable to put smiles on people’s faces. That, to me, is more precious than silver or gold.”
Putting a smile on people’s face, was her mission on earth. How would she have known that just her looks was enough to put a smile on people’s face? Ekene thought.
“I wish life could be less cruel to us for the first time and give us a chance to live again.” She said.
“I will do everything I can to make sure we survive. I will get us out of here,” he promised with a note of determination.
She believed him but she knew she must also play her part in whatever plan he had.
