Lauretha takes a deep breath before she now reached into cards, took out one and dropped it into the black container.
“Yes!” Fabiano screeched joyfully and gripped Lucas.
“I told you, they could never have bought everyone...”
Jasper cleared his throat to speak. “I believe it is settled, Lucas, Matteo...In this effect, Lucas remains the leader of the vampire clan...”
“Damn!” Matteo pushed violently against one of the empty chairs. He first shot a glare at Lucas with which Lucas returned with a scornful look and then at Lauratta before he crept speedily out of the place.
Lucas flashed a sweet smile towards Lauratta but she merely forced one back at him before she crept out too in a bid to go after Matteo.
