*Mya’s POV*
Everything happened so fast. One second, I was holding onto Leo’s shirt tightly, listening to that asšhole threaten our men, and the next, we were being pushed to the ground as gunshots were going off.
I grunted in pain as soon as I hit the ground, since I landed hard on my asš. Though I was pushed suddenly, I had enough time to wrap my arms around my stomach and flip on my back.
“Cata!” Leo panicked before throwing his body on top of mine as the sound of bullets continued. “Samuel!” He yelled over his shoulder while he tried to reach for the gun that was a few feet away. He probably had dropped it when we were pushed.
“I’m fine.” He hissed, making Leo stiffen before jumping into action.
