As he’s in the middle of figuring out why Chapter Twelve in his current novel—working title, Untitled Sean Glenn Thriller—is dragging like a ’57 Chevy losing its suspension, Sean’s office phone rings and the Caller ID states MOONEY LITERARY.
He picks it up and says, “Gordon, how’s your day?”
“Not bad,” his agent replies from Manhattan, about two hundred miles south from Sean’s creaky and charming old farmhouse in Vermont. “Am I interrupting you?”
