Chapter 59
“The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.”
{Rosie’s POV}
Everything was a blur after I met King William. Someone who seemed to be a guard guided me to my chamber where I’d be staying alone. I requested to see the guys first but they refused and as for William, he stayed in his father’s office as per his order, of course.
I know that there are a lot of things that they would have to talk about, but when King Philip asked me to go, all I wanted to do was pull William with me, but seeing him act so cold and distant even to me stopped me from doing so. He didn’t even turn his head or make a move when I was already about to leave.
The way he was acting was never part of the plan. It wasn’t supposed to be like that and it was driving me insane.
