Me, Leo and Jennifer are all outside talking.
" I have to go get Brian. Do you want to come with me or do you want to go home?" Leo asks me.
" Jennifer, you staying here or are you coming to my house?" I asked.
" I'm ready to go to your house." She says.
I looked at Leo.
" I'm just going to catch a ride with Jennifer. We can all meet up at my house," I said.
" Sounds like a plan." he says, getting off the side of his car that he was leaning on, walking up to me. He gently kisses my cheek
"You two be careful." He says, looking at me and Jennifer.
Alexander gets in Jennifer's car with us as the other guard follows Leo. We started to head to my house.
" Thank you."
" For what?" I asked.
" For what you just did for my mom and dad. You really don't know how much that has meant to them."
" You don't have to thank me."
" Yes, I do, you could have done business anywhere, or even have an outrageous percentage because of who you are. But you kept it so that, yeah, you will get some money, but my parents will be able to actually start having money for nice things. You know my mom cried last night. She and my father were talking about closing the catering. With all the break-ins, they would not be able to pay for the supplies they needed and what they had to fix and replace."
" I didn't know that. Well, I have faith in your mom and dad. Plus, they have my best friend as a daughter, so you know they aren't bad people because I just dont like anyone." I said joking around.
" No seriously they were debating about selling the house to keep the company going or letting the company go so they could keep the house. You really helped them."
" No matter what, you are my best friend and that is your mom and dad. I will do all right by them and you. I consider you more like a sister, you know."
Jennifer looks at me and smiles. I can tell this meant a lot to her. I had no idea that her parents were going through all of this. I just know I am glad I was able to help them as they are amazing people."
" So has he said anything about this Brian guy to you?" Jennifer asks
" Actually no. I dont even have an idea of what the double date will be either. I am as clueless as you are."
" I hope we hit it off. I can't wait. I am so nervous honestly."
" You will be OK, I promise. Anyways, once he sees you and gets to know you, he had better worship the ground you walk on."
We both started laughing.
" As for you and Leo, you two are so cute. He is all about you. He can't keep his eyes off you at all. I see the way he looks at you. It's like you are the most beautiful woman to ever walk the earth. He is very taken by you."'
" You think so?"
" Definitely, and I see you can keep your eyes off him, too."
" Well, he is a complete gentleman. He has not done anything to disrespect me. He wants to think I am fragile and I could break. Which is kind of annoying, but adorable at the same time, I have to admit. Did you know he wanted to help me with the rescue?"
" Really him cleaning stalls and messing with the horses? Yeah, sorry I don't see him doing that. I think if he got mud on him he would freak out."
" I don't know. We will see if he is all talk."
We pull up in front of my house and go inside. We just talk and pace and keep fixing our makeup and just nervous honestly. Over the intercom, Alexander says they are on their way. I think both of our hearts hit our stomach. I am so excited for Jennifer. I hope her and this guy get along. Her last boyfriend lasted a few months and was an ass. He tried to make her choose between me and him and she chose me and told him to f**k off.
" Ms. Valentine. Leo and a gentleman are here." Mr. Thompkins says over the intercom.
" Thank you, we will be right down." I said as I was looking at Jennifer, who was nervously fixing her hair.
" You look amazing, I promise. " I say to her, trying to ease her nervous state.
" You think so. Maybe I should pull my hair up." Jennifer says
" No, I promise you are beautiful."
We walked down the stairs and I saw Leo standing there with Brian. He is the same height as Leo. There is a little more muscle on him, which is exactly what Jennifer likes. She likes guys that have a lot of muscle, like the rock. He has a short fade and his hair is dark brown, with brown eyes. You can see he is as nervous as Jennifer. He automatically watches Jennifer and smiles at her. He is definitely interested in her. Thank god. But who wouldn't she is beautiful, long blonde hair that goes to her mid back. She is tall, a perfect healthy weight, not a skinny pole, but not fat either. She is naturally big breasted but she does not flaunt them like others. She has brown eyes and her eyebrows are just a little darker than her hair. She holds herself together. Looking at her, you can see she is down to earth, not snobby, but takes care of herself.
" I am Brian. Nice to meet you" Brian says he has a deeper voice than Leo
" I am Jennifer, nice to meet you." She says as he takes her hand in his
" So are you two up for the beach?" Leo says as me and Jennifer glance at one another
" Yes sure. We have to go get our swimming suits real quick." I say.
We go back upstairs. Jennifer keeps some of her clothes here as she is here all the time. Once we made it to my room she was excited and talked about how cute Brian is. We all pile in Leos car. Brian and Jennifer get in the back and just start talking to one another.
