CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR Just a quick nap I told myself. Just like resting the eyes, nothing serious because honestly the hunger I felt couldn’t let me do anything that required deep investment. Or so I thought. Well it’s safe to say I was lying to myself. First of all, waking up in the truck was disorienting. It took a few moments for me to understand where I was and how I had gotten there.
