Chapter nineteen.
That last part of his sentence made me feel butterflies in my stomach. And strange as it seemed for me, I kind of liked it. I didn’t want to dwell on it, in order not to give legs to thoughts that weren’t even supposed to take up space in my head.
To distract myself, I decided to go for a walk. I know Mum would not want me to stray too far, so I make a mental note to just walk along the perimeters of the clinic or maybe a bit off it but not too far from the tree I was presently standing underneath.
