Chapter sixteen “I just need you to sit down on that stool and try not to kill me with your cold stares” he says sounding all straight to the point, completely different from what I have gotten so used to getting from him. I’m not sure why, but I didn’t like it. He didn’t have on one of his ridiculously large smiles anymore or the goofy looks, all he gave me was a simple straight face that bordered on slightly pissed while he set to work. He checked my blood pressure, and went on to fuss over some other things with his stethoscope while I just sat down quietly, only moving when instructed to do so, without uttering any words of acknowledgement. This felt weird. So it would seem that seeing him being all professional wasn’t something I liked very much and I really wanted it to end
