Of all the things going on in my life, it felt shameful to me that I had to give even the least bit of attention to my controversial love life when my mum was lying unconscious not too far from me.
For what it’s worth, I think this love thing came at a good time despite my better judgement. If not for anything, it was keeping me distracted, and also ensuring that I didn’t spend the better part of my days pinning over the most ridiculous things i can do to trigger a response from mum.
