CHAPTER 31
“So what do you plan to do for the day?”
TD asks me suddenly all grave and straight to the point despite his position on the floor.
“I haven’t really thought about it, I guess I would take a bath first and then the rest of the day will sort itself out from there.”
“but now that I really think about it, I will probably spend most of it beside Ma. I don’t think I can bear to stay away from her for longer than is absolutely necessary.”
As I say this, my mind goes off to make a mental note of so many thing totally unsafe in my human standards. I don’t know how mum has been able to live without a door, or with a leather door latch, but all I know is that the thought of leaving mum here all alone made me cringe a bit.
