Chapter seven
This is my second wake up act, and all I can say is that I’m getting better at it.
This time all there was to it was the mere struggle of crossing over from the land of Morpheus long enough to get a grip on consciousness.
It had little or no pain accompanying it, it had something the other time didn’t have when I opened my eyes.
This time, I wake up to find my mum’s panicky face just a mere inches away from mine. Well that’s an upgrade right there. The last time she was long asleep in a chair far away.
