The Prince's black Mercedes drove off. Regina was silent. "How are you?" Quarin asked her. She had a lump in her throat from the tension. “Bad, thank you. And you?" He frowned. "I'm so sorry." He shook her hand affectionately. "I'm bad too. They will regret it, I assure you." Regina did not withdraw her hand, adsorbing the little comfort he gave her.
