I am not accustomed to such luxury or for the kitchen to have a window. The proof is that I am sitting stirring the mughli dressed in my shalha housecoat. My grandmother’s kitchen, in which I spent a large portion of my lifetime, was the heart of the house. There was no window exposing it to the outside, and I could prepare food wearing the least amount of clothing possible. I jump down from the sink and look at my shalha.
