I was shocked that he had prepared a nice dinner for me. I was really touched. The feeling of being cherished was amazing.
Touched as I was, I fell into his arms again and almost lost control of myself. Thank goodness my senses returned and I pulled myself back again in time.
I listened to his questions and fell into a long silence as I took in his frustration. I didn't know how I was going to answer him. It wasn't his fault. I couldn't control myself and let my feelings get in the way of the contract. Then I ended up looking like this.
