Chapter 7

A knock came on Zedek's door and he quickly opened it.

"Hi" he said to the beautiful lady in front of him who always seemed to mesmerized him just by her looks,

Bella stood stunned, she didn't know how she got to his room all she could recall was that she was walking through the hallway with her thoughts clouding her mind and the next thing she was in his room.

"Uhhmmm, how do you like this place" she tried to cover up,

"I have been here for two days and you are asking me that now" he raised his brow drawing closer to her, leaving only an inch between him and her.

"Yes, is it too late to ask" she answered blushing a bit, her stupid question was dragging down a conversation that didn't even make sense, she was glad that atleast he wasn't ignoring her.

"Maybe but not from you, you can ask me anything you want" He placed her hands in his and they were the same size, for a woman she was much stronger and agile than any woman he had ever met.

"If I weren't your mate, would you have killed me" those words slipped from her mouth and she was startled herself for asking such a question. "What the hell is wrong with me" she thought.

Zedek kept quiet for a while thinking of what to say, it was true that he would have killed her if she wasn't his mate or much worse left her to the hands of Levi who wanted to make her his slave.

"Honestly, I don't know. You are a strong Alpha, do you think that I would have been able to subdue you" he asked Back changing the question, he didn't want to look like a villain to his mate, being a rogue was too much for her to accept and he could see how much she was trying to accept him.

"You are the most feared rogue in all lands, you have killed more Alpha and subdued packs that are even stronger than ours. Do you think that I would stand a chance" She sat on his bed looking up to him.

"Let's not think about that for now, the moon goddess brought us together for a reason" he coaxed her into his arms and she fitted perfectly. Having her in his arms brought out his long desire to mate with her and mark her but he had to take things slow, he still had four days for her to fall deeply in love with him and he was already seeing a bit of progress from his efforts.

"Do you know how hard it is to be close to you and yet not be able to kiss you, I am trying to restrain myself can't I get a little kiss" he groaned in sadness, being soft and careful was never his thing but he was changing for her.

She smiled and turned her face to his ready to kiss him when she got interrupted.

"Alpha, we have visitors" Beta Deon said through the mind-link.

"We can talk some other time" she excused herself and left.

Zedek could feel a dark void from the loss of her presence, it hurt him to see her go.

Standing before Bella was an exact replica of Zedek only that he wasn't as handsome and tall as Zedek. Bella stood dazzled, "Was she seeing twins" she asked herself walking closer to the man.

"Hi, I am Alpha Andrew of the Peak Moon pack" he introduces himself.

No, this wasn't happening. She had told them that she would be there in a week so how then was the Alpha already here.

"I am guessing you are shocked by my arrival, I had to see for myself the woman I am taking as my Luna before I accept her" Andrew took his seat as he stared Bella, she was much pretty in person than in the pictures that he had seen. Her soft delicate skin with her bright blue eyes, she seemed to be blessed by the goddess with such ravishingly beauty. He couldn't seem to take his eyes off her and her scent was quite extraordinary to him.

"It's okay, I am Bella, Alpha of this pack" she replied feeling uncomfortable with his stares,

"Could you stop lusting after me" she said in a harsh tone.

"I am sorry, I was just striken by your beauty.

Well let's get down to business" he stated.

"Okay"

"Your pack is quite smaller than I thought, you made a wise choice demanding an alliance with us, it would strengthen us both.

As Alpha I am willing to send Fifty of my warriors to this pack to protect and live here. And as for being my Luna, I accept your offer, I need a strong woman by my side who wouldn't weigh me down.

I would make sure to send word to every pack that the Peak Moon pack is in alliance with to stay clear off your pack and also attend to your distress call anytime your pack is in danger" Andrew said firmly.

Bella sat in total silence as she listened to him, all these was exactly what she wanted for her pack, for them to leave in peace and have other packs ready to fight for them at their distress. She saw Andrew as a perfect fit for her and also for her pack.

"I will think about what you have said but for the meanwhile why don't you rest in our guest house" She said when the door was pushed opened and Zedek walked in.

He grabbed Andrew by the shirt and punched him hard. "Stay the f**k away from my mate, you already have a pack do you also want to take my mate away from me" he yelled to his face.

After Bella left he overheard Beta Deon talking to the Gamma over a new Alpha who Bella had promised to be his Luna. He got so mad that he marched to her office.

How could she lie to him when she was trying to sell herself to another man, he was her mate for Christ sake what part of that didn't she understand.

He opened the door and met the face that he hated so much, his anger fueled even more as he rushed to give him the beatings of his life.

"You dimwit" he punched again and again until blood was oozing out of Andrews mouth and nose.

He hated him so much, he took his pack from him and now he was here to take his mate also. He would rather die than let him have her.

"Zedek stop" Bella yelled but he was too hot headed to hear her.

He couldn't stop until he had killed Andrew, he squeezed his neck allowing his claws to dig into his skin, Fenrir didn't need to take control, Zedek was much more capable to kill his brother without him.

"Zedek please stop" Bella yelled again but he didn't mind. He pulled him up and knocked him to the wall, Zedek came at him again but he was knocked away by a swift kick from Andrew.

He charged at him again but this time Bella stopped him, she stood in front of him blocking his path with pleading eyes begging him to stop.

"We meet again brother" Andrew wiped the blood from his face and smirked, it had been a long time since he last saw his brother and he was still as hostile as ever.

But what connection did he have with Bella, he could clearly remember him saying MATE.

"Zedek look at me" Bella touched his face and he looked down at her.

"Please don't fight, I don't want any blood shed in my office" She said.

What that all she cared about, that her precious office would be stained with blood. He grabbed her hand taking her back to his room, he needed to make things clear to her that she was his mate and she couldn't sell herself to his brother for power.
