"How does it feel to be Alpha" Nilsa asked him while he sat on a chair in the bedroom.

Zedek turned to her with a soft smile on his face, the dress she wore was so exposed and she didn't seem to know about it.

He tried to take his eyes off her but he couldn't resist her body because he could see everything underneath her dress.

"It feels the same, I have been ruling them for years and nothing about that has changed, they just changed the title.

I think it is much better if we were referred to as a pack more than Just Rogues but the name I would pick for our pack would sure send shivers to our enemies" he answered her with confidence.

Just because Zedek had been made and Alpha doesn't mean that he would settle down, he could still feel it in his body that he wanted more bloodshed, the urge to subdue more packs was still in him but then he wanted to always be near his mate Nilsa.

"Hmm, your men do look up to you" she answered seeing how loyal his men were to follow him and demand that he become an Alpha ruling them all.

"Yeah, they are.

How about you? Don't you want to be my Luna" he said crossing his legs and folding his arms.

Nilsa played with her hair, "you see, I know nothing about ruling a pack, besides there are no women in the pack just men" she emphasized and Zedek saw a good point in it, they needed more women in their pack but he wouldn't force his men into breeding when they didn't want to yet but that didn't stop her from being his Luna.

He got up from his seat and moved closer to her,

"That has nothing to do with you being my Luna, are you scared that you might betray me" he asked in a serious tone.

It would be true to say that Zedek was still hurt by the betrayal of his first mate Bella and he just couldn't trust fully, he still had his doubt that she might reject him too.

"Betray you? I can never do that" she recollected never thinking of doing such a thing, she had grown so fund of Zedek that she didn't want to leave his side.

"Prove it" he demanded her and this left Nilsa thinking, she contemplated on what she could do to get him to believe her.

"Mark me" she said and he stared at her in surprise, was she really asking him to do that.

"Do you know what you are asking to do?" He questioned.

"Yes, mark me" she demanded,

"This would prove that I would never betray you" she added.

"No, I don't want to force you into doing what you don't want" he pulled away from her turning his back to her.

Nilsa move ahead and blocked him,

"I don't care about that, all I want is to carry your mark" she said and crashed her lips on his, Zedek was confused at first impressed by her fierceness but he wasn't satisfied by the kiss so he took over dominating the kiss.

He picked her up in his arm depeening the kiss and he laid her gently on the bed, he planted kisses on her cleavage as he slowly tore the thin dress she was wearing.

Nilsa wrapped her legs around his body while he gave her pleasure with his lips, she was so engrossed in it that she didn't notice he had stopped and was now watching her keenly.

"What's wrong?" She asked finally realizing it.

"I am not ready" he said and she was dumbstruck, she wondered if she did anything to offend him.

"It has nothing to do with you and yes your body turns me on" he said incase she had doubt about her sexuality wondering if her body was not up to his expectations.

"Then what is wrong?"'she asked again.

"I am just not ready" he replied looking away from her.

The last time he had s*x with his first mate, Bella, she had rejected him. While he made love to Nilsa, he also pictured himself being rejected by her and he just couldn't go ahead. He didn't want to be hurt the second time despite Nilsa saying that she won't betray him.

He had his doubt and couldn't fully give in to her, his heart was at stake from being broken and he knew how miserable he would be if she rejected him.

Nilsa was sad as she moved away from him covering herself and leaning on the bed, Zedek noticed her movements and pulled closer to her.

He held her hand and caused her to look into his eyes,

"I would be lying to you if I say I don't want you, you and I both know that I have tried to stay away from you countless times but I just couldn't.

I also want this, I want you to bear my mark but I have other issues at stake here. Trust me when I say that I really want this" he disclosed to her.

"But..."

He sealed her lips with a kiss,

"I will make dinner for you" he said and then left.

Bella picked herself up wearing another dress, she could still feel his touch on her body and she wished he hadn't backed out. She was ready to give her body to him bearing his mark if that was what it took for him to trust her.

She decided in her heart to wait for him because she wanted no one else but him.

"I just wish he could trust me" she said to herself worried by how hurt he was that he didn't want to put his faith in others.

She waited in the room for him while he prepared dinner, after waiting for a while she dozed off.

Zedek opened the door and found her sleeping, he didn't want to wake her up so he tugged her in and stole a kiss from her before leaving again.
