He.. He caught me.. Beneath the veiled moonlight, I felt a surge of urgency, submerging my body deeper into the tranquil waters of the lake. His presence, like an electric current, pulsed through the air, his hand gently grazing the stone behind me. The water enveloped me, its depths providing a refuge, deep enough to submerge my jaw, shielding my vulnerable self from prying eyes. "What are you so embarrassed about?" he inquired, his voice tinged with a playful curiosity. My plea to leave echoed through the night, but I found solace in the fact that he covered me, sheltering me from the revealing glow of the moonlight. "What if I don't want to?" he teased, his words like feathers dancing upon the breeze. My frustration grew, and I couldn't help but raise my voice once more, a desperate plea for him to depart from my presence. . “Just Leave!,” I shouted. “I don't want to!,” He teased again. “Why are you doing this?,” “Why are you embarrassed?,” He asked back. “Poor abs got lost when you're ill?,” He asked and my heart started to beat fast. Yet, he persisted, his words a delightful torment. The question of his motives hung in the air, an enigmatic puzzle that begged for an answer. In return, he questioned my embarrassment, his inquiry cutting through the silence. A jolt of anxiety coursed through me as he mentioned the vulnerability I felt when I was ill, causing my heart to quicken its pace. “I still have abs!,” I shouted Refusing to back down, I asserted my truth with a resolute shout, affirming that my abs remained intact. His teasing persisted, his words laced with a mix of curiosity and allure. With a gulp of nervous anticipation, I contemplated his request to see my abs, feeling a flutter of unease deep within. Yet, my nerve faltered, and I swallowed hard, granting him permission to take a glimpse at my waistline, submerged in the water. In that moment, he reached out, his touch lingering upon my waist. “Let go of me!,” He was about to lift me from the water, his intentions clouded with mischief, until a surge of instinct propelled me to retaliate. With a swift and unexpected act, I poked two of his eyes, a momentary distraction that allowed me to snatch my clothes from the stone and flee. “Damn you Lucian!,” His enraged shouts reverberated through the night, fueling my determination as I hastily adorned my tight bandages, and other garments. Sneering in the face of his anger, I taunted him, reveling in the fact that he had lost his guard. As he turned his gaze towards me, his eyes restored, I found myself stunned by his approach. Fear tinged with relief washed over me, grateful that he hadn't discovered my past as a girl. But suddenly, a hand landed upon my shoulder, shattering my momentary triumph. "Caught you!" he bellowed triumphantly. Dressed in pants and with his hair still damp, he stood before me, a testament to his determination. "Really?" I retorted, a hint of defiance coloring my voice. I prepared to strike him with a swift kick to the head, but he swiftly grasped my foot, thwarting my attempt. In that instant, I released my grip from his hand and made a swift decision to flee, with him hot on my heels. "You!" he shouted, his voice filled with a mix of frustration and exhilaration. And so, I laughed, a melody of freedom echoing through the night, as we continued our playful chase into the unknown. With determination etched upon his face, he sprinted towards me, his voice resounding through the air, "I will catch you!" Defiantly, I stuck out my tongue, the words escaping my lips as a playful challenge. "If you can!" But to my surprise, his speed matched mine, and before I knew it, he had seized my hand, causing us to tumble into the shallow waters of the lake. As we lay there, the coolness of the water seeped into my clothes, dampening my hair and clinging to my skin. I gazed up at him, his eyes a mesmerizing shade of red crimson, their intensity piercing through me. My heart quickened its pace, a symphony of emotions swirling within me, as I struggled to comprehend this unfamiliar sensation that enveloped me. In that fleeting moment, time seemed to stand still, as if the world had faded into the background, leaving only the two of us locked in a silent gaze. It was a dance of vulnerability and connection, an unspoken understanding passing between us, stirring an electric current that pulsed through every fiber of my being. Confusion mingled with desire, weaving a tapestry of emotions that entangled my heart. What was this feeling that stirred within me—an amalgamation of curiosity, anticipation, and perhaps even a hint of attraction? It was a sensation that defied simple explanation, yet held the power to ignite a fire within me. And as our gazes remained locked, suspended in that moment of unspoken connection, I realized that perhaps this feeling, this uncharted territory of emotions, held the promise of something extraordinary. It was a spark that had been ignited, a door flung open to endless possibilities, as we laid there, drenched in the waters of the lake, our destinies entwined in the depths of our shared gaze. In the midst of an intense moment, his voice cut through the air like a sudden gust, jolting me from my thoughts. "L-let's go now," he stammered, his words a mix of frustration and urgency. I sat up, his exclamation echoing in my ears, and a mischievous smile tugged at the corners of my lips. "Don't fall in love with a Male, future heir," I teased, attempting to lighten the atmosphere that had grown heavy with tension. "A-As if!" he retorted, his voice laced with a hint of embarrassment. I rose to my feet and glanced down at my armor, its surface smeared with the evidence of our recent battle. Before I could even begin to address the mess, he muttered an incantation under his breath, and to my astonishment, the blood vanished as if it had never been there. "How!?" I exclaimed, my astonishment palpable. "Magic?" he replied casually, as if such feats were commonplace. "Isn't that normal?" He said, which made me cough as I attempted to regain my composure. "R-right," I stammered, my words betraying my secret knowledge of a more modern era. "Let's go now!" he shouted, his tone resolute. I let out a weary sigh, resigning myself to the fact that there was no use in arguing. With a nod, I fell in step behind him, ready to face whatever lay ahead on our arduous journey.
