Sofia's POV "Stay down!" Noah’s voice bellowed directly into my ear, his heavy frame completely blanketing mine on the slick, cold tarmac. The world went white for a long, terrifying second. A wave of scorching heat washed over my back, followed instantly by a sound so loud my ears rang with a sharp, high-pitched whine. Shrapnel rained down around us—hot metal, shattered glass, and burning debris clattering against the wet pavement like lethal hail.
