Rolling over after a few hours’ sleep, Callie realized that she slept straight through Brad getting up and ready for work and then even missed his kiss goodbye.
Some mornings are worse than others in her state of consciousness. Typically having to get up and get Jessica ready for school, there was a reprieve today as they had a teacher’s stockpile day, so students get the day off. Looking at the clock, it read 8:15, so doing the foggy sleepy math, she adjusted the real time to 8:00. Reaching for her phone, she swiped to bring up the home page and clicked the text box.
