Tick. Tick.. Tick... The court was literally still as they waited for the jury's verdict. Everyone was seated, just as they were thirty minutes earlier. Tiredness had no place in the court cause of the obvious tension—the waiting felt like nothing for them. The very answer. The future. The verdict that would shape every single thing forward was now in the hands of the jury. The lawyers did their parts, played their roles, so it was understandable that everyone was on hot seat—especially Kay North—the press kept on taking unaware pictures of him. The judge had his glasses on, watching the gallery with uninterested eyes. He couldn't just wait to get the verdict, play his own part and get the hell out of here. What's taking the jury so long anyways? He wasn't the only one unbothered
