Dominic's car pulled over on the premises of the restaurant. He turned off the ignition and Valeria unbuckled her seat belt.
"I just knew the restaurant choice was my mother's. This is one of her favourite places in the city," she said, looking at the environment through the glass windows.
Dominic kept quiet as he unfastened his own seat belt and got down from the car.
"What's wrong with him?" she whispered as she got down too before he reached her door.
"Let's go," he said, his tone distant as he led her to the restaurant's entrance.
