A sleepy sigh left her lips as she stretched on the bed. A paw landed on her face and her eyes flew open only to see Zoe sitting on her neck.
"God, you! That's an annoying way to wake someone," Valeria whispered, rolling onto her stomach. Zoe jumped, sitting down beside her head on the bed.
She closed her eyes again to continue her sleep, her hands moving up and down on the soft bed—and that was when it dawned on her.
She opened her eyes and checked, looking at both sides of her.
