Emily's POV
I looked at Fiona in disbelief; I hadn't expected her to return to the office to make such a request!
Fiona's intentions were clear: she wanted to make me the enemy of the entire department.
If I didn't finish the work she gave me on time before the end of the day, thus delaying everyone from going home, I would be isolated from all the employees in the department. This would be a very scary thing.
I can already feel the resentment and grumbling being directed at me. No one wants to be forced to work overtime for an intern!
"Emily. Don't worry, I'll help you." Lilly whispered from the side to reassure me.
